Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your NestEggs account and the personal data associated with it. The same process applies to every NestEggs mobile app and to your account on nesteggs.ca.

Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within your NestEggs mobile app. Sign in, then go to:

Profile → Your Account → Delete my Account

Confirm when prompted. Your account is closed immediately and the deletion process described below begins.

If you can no longer access the app

If you have lost access to your device or can no longer sign in, send a deletion request by email from the address associated with your account to support@nesteggs.ca. Include enough information for us to identify your account (for example, your registered email address). We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request, and we will respond within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is retained

When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it from our production systems, including your profile, contact details, preferences, and any destinations or trip data you have entered into the Service. There is a short recovery window (up to 90 days) after closure to allow for accidental-deletion recovery, after which the data is removed from our production systems.
